In short
- You can record rides without an account. Rides are saved on your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch if you use it.
- Location, Apple Health, precise-route storage and cloud backup are separate choices. You can change each one later.
- There are no ads, no tracking and no analytics SDKs. We never sell your information.
- Raw Apple Health samples are never uploaded, and Health data is never used for advertising or marketing.
- With an account you can export your cloud data for free and delete the account inside the app.

What we use and why

Legal bases
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies:
- Consent, including explicit consent for health data, covers location, Apple Health and precise-route storage. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings or Apple's settings; this does not affect processing already carried out.
- Contract covers your account, backup and purchases you ask for.
- Legitimate interests cover keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and answering support requests.
- Legal obligation covers records we must keep by law.
What we never do
- We do not show ads or include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent your information, or share it for targeted advertising.
- We do not upload raw Apple Health samples, and we never use Health data for advertising, marketing or profiling.
- We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
Where it is stored
Most of your information never leaves your devices. Account and backup data is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Ireland).
Apple and Google process sign-in, maps and purchases on their own systems, which may be outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where information is transferred outside the EEA, our providers rely on safeguards recognised by EU law, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- On your devices: rides stay until you delete them or remove the app. Apple Health keeps its own copy, which you manage in the Health app.
- In the cloud: while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app, we block access, revoke the Apple or Google sign-in, and delete your cloud rides, routes and files. If a service is temporarily unavailable, deletion is retried until it completes.
- Exports are available for one hour after you prepare them. Copies you save are under your control.
- After deletion, we keep only minimal deletion records, such as identifiers and dates, so deleted data cannot come back from a retry or a backup. Provider security logs and encrypted backups expire on their own schedule, and deleted records are removed again if a backup is ever restored.
- Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
Your choices and rights
In the app:
- Change location and Health access in your iPhone's Settings.
- Turn route storage or backup on or off under You → Settings.
- Export or delete your account under You → Settings → Account and data.
Your rights: you can ask us for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Email cycletronenterprise@gmail.com. We may need to confirm it is you before acting, and we answer within one month.
Complaints: you can complain to your local data-protection authority. In Romania, that is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP).
This website
This website has no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, forms or third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from this site.
It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the pages. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Children
CycleTron is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information as follows:
- Connections are encrypted in transit.
- Every cloud table the app can reach is protected by row-level access rules tied to your verified sign-in.
- Server keys are kept in the hosting provider's secret store, never in the app.
- We keep only the information the features need.
Please report security concerns to our email address, without including passwords or unrelated personal records.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top. For material changes, we will tell you in the app before they apply. New features that share information, such as public profiles or live location, will be explained here before they become available.
